Q: What If I Need to Cancel or Change Camps?

Q: What happens if it rains?

We will do our best to hold camp in the rain. We will relocate the camp indoors if the “flashbang” time is less than 30 seconds. Outdoor activities will be suspended until at least 15 minutes after the last flashbang of < 30 seconds occurs.

If a major rain event is forecasted we will cancel camp and alert parents of the cancellation (via website and text messaging).

Q: What if the temperatures are too hot?”

Generally, we can hold camp in the mornings even on the hottest days. We ensure campers and volunteers are well-hydrated while at camp and apply sunscreen liberally. Water games are also scheduled for each day to help keep the campers refreshed.

Q: Will gluten-free or other dietary restrictions be provided, or should I bring my snacks?

Campers with dietary restrictions should bring their snack. We will not have any snacks with nuts at the site.
